@JakeJackmann Tragedy that he’s done this. I never thought he would leave. Doing it the grubby perverted way of hiring oily parasitic agents rather than handing in a transfer request is a stain on his character (if indeed has done this).

Bruno will be advised to do everything possible. He’s already made the first moves, no point half arsing it, in for a penny, in for a pound. Always felt Liverpool would put up enough money for Isak. I’m not convinced Arsenal will, but I have no doubt Bruno will push hard. #nufc

He will come back hopefully refreshed.

@JakeJackmann He can and will push as much as he likes but unless a fair valuation is met then Newcastle won’t be in the selling mood. Why should we take a penny under what we value him at. Isak threw a tantrum and left but we still got the asking price we wanted.

Fair play Villa, signing and sale done in quick time. Fee on low side, but they did sign him on a free. Villa a much slicker outfit in the transfer market than we are.

@Im_RobM By slick, I mean they keep things quiet and move with purpose, getting deals done for players. Maybe they aren't always getting good players or value when they do it. We seem to be good at identifying talent, while struggling to get deals done. They're maybe the opposite.

@JakeJackmann We are in a state 100%, but it's got to a point where another club will do absolutely anything & we are praising them. I had a look at Villa's arrivals over the last few years and Rogers is genuinely the only one where you think that's a class signing. They are by no means slick.
