The Supreme Court has refreshed the look of its online docket pages (left image is old, right image is new) Tan is out, gray is in. Also, the attorneys are no longer buried at the bottom of the page.

It’s deeply funny to me that a patently unserious comment about not teaching disappeared sections of the Constitution from the Lib. of Congress’s website prompted earnest and profane responses that (1) I’m a moron for changing my teaching (2) folks don’t realize websites change?

@smmarotta I wrote my entire dissertation on social media as a new media environment for Supreme Court news.
Elon effectively ruined any possible future research avenue for this by the time I’d even finished writing.

I became a Twitter devotee when I heard a NY Times reporter praise it as essentially an instantaneous news aggregator. The algorithm's hostility to hyperlinks undermines its utility for that; it's more of a "hot takes" aggregator now.
