Chiefs were the only .500+ team in the 2019 AFC West.
In playoffs they beat a 10-6 Texans team, 9-7 Titans with Tannehill, and Jimmy Garoppolo was one pass away from beating KC in the Super Bowl.
Folks were real quiet about that easy path.

Maybe I’m way off but I fundamentally don’t understand why you don’t take the ball first in overtime. The advantage of getting the ball if a third possession happens seems so much more important than knowing what you need to get on the second possession
