Meh. Norwich City are the best team in the Championship in 2026 in terms of point return so I did not expect to win. However to have the winning goal scored from outside the box because we can’t close them down is not Charlton. I’ve always believed players should be open to criticism - it comes with the profession. However the way swathes of the home end were treating an academy product in Tyreece Campbell was rank. I’ve criticised him at times this season and last season. However it genuinely sounded like some people had Tourette’s just screaming his name at random points in the game. We are basically safe. He is one of our own. The biggest issue we have is that we don’t have another Campbell type player in the squad to push him for competition and allow him to rest. #CAFC

Yesterday’s fabulous result was the first time in 2026 I really believed we might avoid the drop. WBA and Charlton were two poor teams, but Millwall ware rising high. I think Charlton are the team that will hopefully drop like a stone to help us.
