Crimson Desert devs added the entire detailed process of a wolf statue being built in. The NPCs worked step by step from a rough stone block to the finished monument.

Michael Mann is considering AI for "aging and de-aging" actors in Heat 2, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale, to handle the film's split timeframe, allowing authentic portrayals of younger Vincent Hanna and Neil McCauley in the pre-1995 story. While AI in filmmaking is controversial, its value depends on usage. Using it to resurrect deceased actors, write scripts, or generate entire films harms the art. However, like CGI for color correction or scene repair, AI can be a valuable tool — exactly how Mann plans to apply it.

This is why we aren’t getting anything done because too much of these protests have become performative. Don’t just break the gates down tear the buildings down. There are MILLIONS of these people protesting who have the ability to physically bring down this regime but the most they’ll do is shout with signs. That’s great but it’s nowhere near enough. The opposition doesn’t take us seriously because why would they? All of these people will go back to work tomorrow to serve the corrupt government controlling us. We have to be willing to actually risk something y’all. Where are the nationwide strikes and rebellions? If the most you’re willing to do is write on cardboard that you disagree with what’s happening then nothing is going to change. Do people really think something like this ends peacefully? That peaceful protests are going to give us the results we want? No wonder we’re in this situation. DIRECT ACTION PEOPLE. Look at what history tells us. It’s there for a reason.

@TheCinesthetic It was laziness. He did the same thing in that lousy Gladiator sequel, which made him sound more like a Brooklyn pimp. Was that for 'grounding' or an even worse implication, that Black Americans have no ties to Europe?

Denzel Washington chose not to use a British accent in The Tragedy of Macbeth (2021). With Joel Coen, he opted for his natural voice to ground the performance, showing how Shakespeare’s rhythm carries beyond geography or dialect.

@ChazSmith @SceneinCinema Yes. There are an incredible amount of story reasons as to why it works in the comic books. Norman was a scientist developing weapons for the military. The biological looking face mask would not have worked for the story. And it was also incredibly difficult to perform in as well

@Jakemontague3 @SceneinCinema Is there a "story reason" why it works in the comic books? Spidey is shooting webs from his wrists, no one would have questioned a madman making a animatronic mask.

In Spider Man (2002), the original Green Goblin mask was a detailed animatronic with glowing eyes and lifelike movement, but it was scrapped because Sam Raimi and the studio felt it was too scary for children and toy marketing.

Holly saying “mama” in Ozymandias wasn’t scripted. She was calling for her real mom off camera, and Bryan Cranston stayed in character. That gave Breaking Bad one of its most devastating moments.

Martin Scorsese on the mistakes a filmmaker must avoid: "There are many different kinds of mistakes that I think a director must try to avoid at all costs. The first that comes to mind is redundancy—making the point of a film over and over again, either emotionally or intellectually. Well, emotionally, you can get away with it sometimes, because the emotion can become intense enough to become something else. But in terms of a message, whether it’s a political message or just the underlying theme of the film, I sometimes see films in which, at the end, a character will, either virtually or literally, make a speech or have a line of dialogue where he will explain that the film title means or even explain what the film was all about. And that, I feel, is the worst thing you can do. I’m not sure I’ve avoided that myself. But I’ve certainly tried." ("Moviemakers' Masterclass", Laurent Tirard, 2002)

A 91-year-old streamer became a social media star after beating a horror game without any guides Chinese gamer Yang Binglin, known as Game Grandpa, completed Resident Evil Requiem without using a single walkthrough. He streamed the entire playthrough and solved everything on his own. To keep track of details, he wrote everything down in a regular notebook. That’s how he worked through puzzles and navigated the game. He was previously listed in the Guinness World Records as the oldest gaming streamer. Before retirement, he worked as an engineer and only started gaming after 1996.
