I just recently filed for Social Security retirement benefits at age 68, and the first direct deposit was due today. The deposit did not show up. This screenshot is what I got when I tried to visit the link I saved for SSA.gov. Have I been scammed?

🚨Mamdani’s NYC🚨 Here’s another angle of the car takeover last night in Middle Village, Queens in NYC. If you watch closely someone is struck by the vehicle doing donuts and the car just keeps on going. Not sure what injuries were sustained and if the person who was struck was an innocent bystander or part of the car meet up. The NYPD’s @NYPD104Pct who covers this area is no where to be found as a result of the diminished staffing of patrol precincts. I’m being told the 104th precinct sent resources to the 110th precinct who was dealing with a separate car take over in the confines of their precinct. NYC Councilman @PhilWongNYC at the last public safety hearing asked @NYPDPC Jessica Tisch and @NYPDChiefOfDept Mike LiPetri what they were doing to prevent these from continually occurring and all he got was a word salad from the Chief. Car crews are taking over NYC on Zohran Mamdani’s watch and there is no coherent and effective plan currently in place to combat this. All 5 Boro District Attorneys need to be on board as well, to stop this from occurring. The cars used need to be confiscated. Anyone engaging in this reckless behavior should have their driving privileges suspended.

If the Holy Father dares to criticize Trump—be it on wars, Iran, or Christian charity—then one's own denomination is summarily discarded like an unsuitable T-shirt. Trump first, everything else second. Or not at all. But you could also write: Embarrassment first. Lies first. Betrayal first. The list goes on. This isn't a crisis of faith. This is the ultimate exposure of a political cult. MAGA followers—or at least their most vocal representatives like Hannity—willingly abandon their faith to remain unconditionally loyal to the man considered by independent historians, ethics watchdogs, and a long list of court cases to be one of the most corrupt and scandal-ridden presidents in US history. A man who likely raped children, whose administration was riddled with conflicts between private business and official duties, and who, even while in office, never ceased to test the boundaries of law and decency. They sacrifice their religion, their intellectual integrity, and often enough, their own moral compass—and for what? For a president whose record of competence, character, and governance is considered by many to be disastrous. They call it "loyalty." Critics call it blind worship. The Church has survived scandals for centuries, but apparently not the test of whether it is allowed to criticize Trump. Anyone who so readily abandons their faith simply to remain loyal to a single politician has never truly believed in anything higher than power and tribalism. The MAGA movement is demonstrating once again that it is no longer a political movement. It is a substitute religion with its own cult leader, its own dogmas, and a willingness to sacrifice everything else—including one's own conscience. Anyone still participating must ask themselves: What is left when even faith only counts as long as it benefits Trump?
