Ok - we generated a lot of data - so what? Final scores on the doors were 119 Gb from 3 loads on a new flow cell and 90 Gb from 4 loads on an original flow cell. N50s were in the 100 kb range. What does this let us do?

And... Friday. These two flowcells have now been running and actively sequencing for just over 50 hours (they both had an overnight pause). The original flow cell has just been paused for its third library load. 68 Gb N50 117kb. The improved buffer flowcell is 95Gb, N50 108 kb

Last week we announced a new protocol explaining how to recover a DNA library mid-sequencing run. This protocol has been developed to enable precious samples to be recovered and transferred to a new flow cell for continued sequencing. Find out more here: bit.ly/3GTxgDw
