Last week I finished the codebase for a traditional Catholic app. What I’m working on now: The TLM Ordinary in Latin and English. 37 prayers with phonetics. Guided Rosary. Stations. Confession guide. 7 saints with daily spiritual rules. 10 Latin courses with more to come.

@Nicolas28386271 Jean moulin? Pasteur? Voltaire? Clemenceau? Nietzche?

Jack Lang ? BHL ? Attali ? Cohn-Bendit ? Taubira ?

I’m officially a Catholic now! The OCIA process has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. At first it was intimidating but pursuing a deeper relationship with God is worth it. And this is just the beginning! Happy Easter! ✝️🕊️

➡️ l.lexpress.fr/gGG ✍️ @RZitelmann

@KimDotcom There’s something fundamentally off with Russia’s strategy. We simply cannot say they’re winning the war. Over the past four years, they’ve fired thousands of drones and missiles at Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, yet the lights are still on

Russia is now opposing EU membership of Ukraine because the EU looks increasingly like a military alliance. Good luck raising that €90 billion. Russia is going to win the war. In my humble opinion they have already won. There is no way the EU is giving Ukraine the €90b now.

@sarkonakj There is NO French in Canada. quebec french is to French what pig Latin is to Latin. A bastardization of a REAL language. Thus, quebec french is pig French spoken by swine.

After the Tumbler Ridge shooting, the Bloc Québecois gave condolences in English. The CEO of Air Canada should have done the same for the francophone loved ones of the pilot who died at LaGuardia, regardless of the bilingualism debate. Anger is warranted: nationalpost.com/opinion/jamie-…

@Steve_Lafleur With that insight alone, youd realize why it doesnt make sense to treat the two language as equally important. English is the universal language. Thats not an anglo perspective, its just a reality.

The thing a lot of Anglos are missing is that you can get on a flight to Paris and order dinner in English. If you're a Francophone i Montreal, you might not get served in french in your own neighborhood. People have feelings about this! Pretending it's a non-issue is silly.

Dear @elonmusk, the reality is that Air Canada CEO should have resigned a long time ago 🇨🇦 1) Quebec officials have been complaining him for years for his complete inability to speak French as the CEO of Air Canada, where bilingualism is required, and despite the company being headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. 2) In Quebec, the official language is French. It's the law and the core part of the province's identity. Air Canada CEO Michael Rousseau has lived in Quebec for 20 years, and never made the effort to learn French. This strikes a sensitive nerve for many Quebecers, as it reflects a broader pattern seen among many newcomers in the province who remain unable or unwilling to integrate and speak French. 3) Since his appointment as CEO of Air Canada in 2019, despite "taking lessons", he has not achieved basic proficiency for public statements. Nobody is asking for him to become fluent, but French Canadians are disappointed that he didn't even make the effort to read off a pre-written text in French. 4) One of the two pilots that died, Captain Antoine Forest, is from Quebec, and it's disrespectful to his family that the condolences message was only said in English. 5) Another factor that triggered French Canadians is that ironically, his last name Rousseau is of French heritage. This touched on a profound and longstanding fear: the gradual erosion and disappearance of their language and culture in their own homeland.
