I’m excited and grateful to announce my commitment to continue my academic and baseball career at McKendree University. First, I want to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity and guiding me through this journey. I also want to thank my family for always supporting me, pushing me, and believing in me every step of the way. None of this would be possible without the sacrifices they made for me. Thank you to all of my coaches, teammates, teachers, and friends who helped me grow both on and off the field. Every lesson, practice, and challenge helped shape me into the person and player I am today. I’d also like to thank the coaching staff at McKendree for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of their program. With a month left in my senior season I’ve decided I won’t further be pursuing baseball at the next level. I’m having so much fun with my teammates and I’m excited for a deep run in the postseason. I’m immensely proud of how far I’ve came in this game , and I’m at peace knowing I gave this game what it deserved every single day. The lifelong wisdom that this game has taught me. Is immeasurable. Thank you to the coaches that did give me an opportunity to play at the next level, I’m extremely grateful it would’ve been possible for me to continue playing the game I love. I’m so extremely grateful for every coach that has helped me throughout these thirteen years and to all the great people at @stllpa , you guys made a difference in my life that I could never have gotten anywhere else. Thank you baseball, and I’m excited to leave it all out there these final 5 weeks.
