In 2021, 22-year-old Texas college student Jacqueline Durand was hired to walk two dogs at a home in Coppell.
She had met the dogs before and was supposed to care for them while the owners were away.
But when Jacqueline opened the front door, the dogs attacked.
They mauled her for nearly 40 minutes before first responders could safely reach her.
By the time she was rescued, Jacqueline had suffered more than 800 bite wounds and lost about 30% of her blood.
The dogs had torn off both of her ears, her nose, her lips, and most of her face below the eyes.
She was rushed to the hospital and placed in a medically induced coma.
Jacqueline survived, but spent weeks in the hospital and later underwent multiple reconstructive surgeries.

@NickMills6987 @PWPNation When was Chelsea injury prone? I remember her breaking her arm but that was it.
English

I for the life of me do not understand why these wrestlers keep coming out talking shit when their own failures are why they were not successful. Everybody that gets released especially ones like Dakota who are super injury prone need to take the Chelsea Green route. Chelsea had chance after chance after chance and kept getting hurt so the WWE said goodbye. So she went and made a bigger name for herself, made her way back and now is a featured part of the women’s division. We need more Chelsea greens in this world of wrestling.

Her WWE run failed because of injury & age — similar to most athletes. There wasn’t a glass ceiling.
WWE clearly featured her.

A GoFundMe has been opened to support the family of Luke Menzies, formerly known as Ridge Holland, given the circumstances of his WWE departure
Chelsea Green is donating $1000 monthly ❤️
"Help a Father of 3 Heal Without Losing Everything
"A hardworking husband. A devoted wife. Three beautiful children. And a devastating injury that threatens to take it all away.
"We’re reaching out with heavy hearts on behalf of a dear family in crisis. A loving father of three suffered injuries whilst on the job — injuries that have not only left him unable to work but also abandoned by the very company he served.
"Despite being injured at work, he was hired as a 1099 contractor — meaning he’s not eligible for workers’ compensation, sick leave, or any support from the employer. Since the injury, the company has offered to pay for medical expenses BUT No pay. No new contract
"The family has already endured a 55 % pay cut last year and have done everything possible to reduce their expenses.
"He is now facing months of recovery, including another surgery in March of next year, and potentially a neck surgery this month, leaving him unable to return to work until at least late April or early May — if recovery goes as hoped.
"His wife, who is already stretched thin caring for him and their three young children, is doing her best, but without any nearby family or support system, it’s simply not enough. Every day is a struggle mentally and physically they would like to provide a sense of stability for their children — who are watching their world slowly unravel.
"They’re doing everything they can. But it’s not enough.
"They are at risk of losing their home. Of falling into debt they may never escape. Of having their kids face a holiday season filled with fear and uncertainty rather than joy.
"This family needs a lifeline — and they need it now.
"Your donation, no matter the size, will give them the time and space to heal, regroup, and rebuild without losing everything they’ve worked so hard for.
"Please give what you can — and share this campaign with your community.
"Every share, every prayer, and every dollar means the world to this family. Together, we can help them make it through this unimaginable season and into a more hopeful future.
"This fundraiser has been created to help this beautiful family through the months ahead — to keep a roof over their heads, food on the table, pay the bills, cover travel to hospital appointments, and give him chance to focus on healing without the constant fear of financial collapse.
"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."

@HooliPlays @WrestleTalk_TV Omg it was an accident. Same thing with Samoa joe and Tyson Kidd. I’m glad everyone isn’t sending hate to Joe. Now please do the same for ridge. Accidents happen in pro wrestling. This is what they sign up for. They’re aware of the risks and they do it for our entertainment.
English

@WrestleTalk_TV Is he donating any of this to Big E who’s career he ended?
English

@EliteClubS0B I wish fans would just stand up for themselves. We eventually have to fight back against security taking our signs away. Also this is stealing someone’s property because they don’t give it back at the end of the show for some odd reason
English

@Unger2Unger @DrainBamager Fr. He’s one of the best wrestlers in the world but needs to walk away while he still can at this point.
English

@React2W @arielhelwani Yeah idk why Darbys talking shit about Punk. I thought him and Punk remained friends after punk got fired.
English

@arielhelwani Interesting choice using the word “cancer” to describe a guy who had you running shows in the United Center in Chicago and LCA in Detroit where you now run in bingo halls that barely hold 3,000.
But like many have said, AEW isn’t about making money. It’s about making friends.
English

Darby Allin explains how 'cutting out the cancer' led to changes at AEW:
"A few years ago, you definitely felt this tension, but now everybody's on the same page.
Tony wants everybody, in the ring and in their personal life, to be happy. That's a really good energy... I feel like right now, more than ever, everybody's on the same wavelength... The cancer got cut out."
