Dude... the AEW show Double Or Nothing was insane... I'm really starting to think TKO & WWE better to get things moving, because I'm starting to prefer AEW by far now, not a single damn minute of commercials, crazy matches, insanes stories. I've been watching since their beginning, but I've preferred WWE when Triple H took control, however, it's becoming difficult to watch WWE now because of TKO and this PG era, and AEW is much cooler now. #AEWDoN #AEWDynamite #WWERaw @TonyKhan @TripleH

Bryan: "I thought it was probably the best AEW PPV I've ever seen." Dave: "They do the best big shows I've ever seen on a consistent basis. There's a lot more moments I get scared on AEW shows than anybody else as far as the talent going too far but this was a great show, great booking, great wrestling matches and one of the best crowds they ever had." youtu.be/e1Fj0e65pOQ?si…

@EliteClubS0B Story makes no sense. “They weren’t using us. They ignored us. We couldn’t get them on the phone - except when they wanted to re-sign us - then we turned them down to join AEW.” Uhhhh, sure. 🙄

MVP says Triple H repeatedly ignored him and Bobby Lashley backstage, which ultimately led to both stars deciding to leave WWE. “I don't like Triple H, I think he's a coward and a liar. There were multiple times I tried to talk to Triple H, and he would always say, ‘I’ll get with you in a little bit.’ “Bobby couldn’t get Triple H on the phone. Triple H wouldn’t give Bobby any one on one time. Bobby wanted to talk to Triple H about, ‘Hey, what’s my direction? What am I doing here?’ But Triple H always had something come up. “So I told Bobby while we were sitting in catering, ‘Dog, I’m not going to re-sign. Don’t re-sign either. You, me, and Shelton should go to AEW. Let’s go.’ “I was in Bobby’s ear every week. ‘Bobby, let’s go, dog. Let’s get Shelton and head across the street.’ It finally got to the point where Bobby was like, ‘Yeah, you’re right. There’s no future here for us.’ “So my contract ran out. Bobby’s contract ran out. We chose not to re-sign. Contrary to what some people might say, that was our decision.” (Marking Out with MVP & Dwayne Swayze)

@JimmyChonga454 @JobberNationTV Take your Xanax. I’m sure HBOMax will brag about the 2-3 million who watch on Wednesday then. Why are you so mad? This was the greatest show the world has ever seen. It was watched for the first time by crabby WWE fans and they fell in love! Dynamite might get 5 million.

FIRST ROUND MOCK
FIRST ROUND MOCK@firstroundmock·
Caleb Williams isn’t getting a contract extension from the Bears for two reasons: 1. Bears ownership has no history of breaking the bank for quarterbacks they have drafted in the first round dating back to Jim McMahon (1982-1988). The business model with their most recent first round selections Mitch Trubisky (2017-2020) and Justin Fields (2021-2023) was just playing them on their rookie deals. 2. There’s no need to break the bank for a quarterback like Williams who has an NFL career completion percentage of 60.3%. Quarterbacks with that level of accuracy are easy to find through the draft or free agency for minimal investment. For example, Tyrod Taylor had a completion percentage of 59.7% last season (he signed a 1-year deal with the Packers for $2.8 million). Joe Flacco had a 60.3% completion percentage last season (he signed a 1-year deal with the Bengals for $6 million). That’s the fair market value for that level of accuracy. Williams accuracy is also on a downward trend. He went from 62.5% in 2024 to 58.1% during the regular season to 52.2% in the 2025 playoffs. Quarterbacks in that accuracy range are a dime a dozen. Better yet, they could just turn things over to Tyson Bagent as a bridge quarterback who has a career completion percentage of 66.4%. Bagent was an undrafted free agent out of Division II Shepherd University and he is currently on a two-year contract for $10 million. Photo Credit: Getty Images

Dave Meltzer believes six matches from AEW Double or Nothing were "close to out of this world": "I thought it was among the best (AEW pay-per-views). The first two matches were probably the best first two matches on an AEW pay-per-view I've ever seen. "There were a lot of great matches, there were six matches that were close to out of this world. Fantastic crowd, it was an awesome show. "They do the best big shows I've ever seen on a consistent basis. I could point to big shows at the Tokyo Dome that are on par, but not month after month." Tony Khan is praising David Ellison again, touting his relationship with him/Paramount through the NFL. He is happy about the prospect of TBS/Turner living under that umbrella. He says Ellison watches wrestling. He seems very confident AEW will remain on TBS/TNT post-merger.

@rob_bohanan It’s true. I was there. I had to walk completely around the stadium after walking back and forth on this long ass bridge, major cramps in both legs while doing this and felt I had no other choice but to OVERPAY for a uber to the hotel. I’m done with shows in Queens.

I just saw a video of Mick Foley walking to the ring in front of thousands of empty seats. Sad that he’s let his legacy be diminished to play in the minor leagues. The sickos love him for now until Tony buys them a new toy.

#AEW just put on one of the greatest PPV’s in company history, and the best PPV in recent memory in the entire industry at #AEWDoN Notoriously, AEW has dropped the ball with their #AEWDynamite follow up shows, and this is one of the most important follow ups in their entire history, and they MUST hit it out of the park. Why? Never in the history of AEW have I seen more people checking out AEW for the first time tonight at Double or Nothing, and the feedback has been tremendous. They are undoubtedly going to have new eyes on Wednesday, and they need to capitalise on this opportunity now more than ever, with #WWE fans everywhere looking for other product due to the poor creative and TKO direction. Tony and AEW need to deliver a flawless show on Wednesday, and this could be a HUGE turning point for them to gain new fans for the long term. Sub to my YouTube for my LIVE discussion tomorrow, and my video breaking all of this down before Dynamite on Wednesday. Link in bio!

WWE has a MASSIVE PR problem, and the C-suite is too shortsighted to fix it. Vince Russo and Coachman are calling out TKO for completely abandoning the "Ambassador" model. Russo argues that legends like Kurt Angle should be the face of the company, bridging the gap between fans and the product. Instead, the current environment is described as a "sterile" and "scary" place where talent feels like just another number in a spreadsheet. Coachman claims the locker room morale is in the GUTTER. Is WWE sacrificing its soul to save a few bucks? (source: The Coach and Bro @TheCoachandBro)
