I can’t worked out who fucked the Merrett situation up… was it Petroro? Was it Hawthorn? Was it both? The approach basically ensured it was impossible to get done cos it got Essendons fans off side. A few months ago Merrett had many a blessing to look elsewhere & they fucked it.

If anyone needs to know why we’ve been a basket case for 20 years, then Dodoro is a massive reason why. You don’t court a player, get them to request a trade while in contract, know the price up front and continue to try and get it done cheaper and then fail…so so poor!
