@finnster1977 It's of no use in Galway bay. No issue with protesting but dont be causing innocent people to suffer. We need fuel to survive. What's blocking the ports going to achieve? Wise up ffs

@IrishWriter_ I'm a farmer. Government are inept but stopping the delivery of fuel to the pumps is lunacy. Animals have to be fed every day, fertilizer needs to be spread to grow grass. Both tasks require diesel or its starvation and death for animals, simple as.

@Liveshow730 @Bryan277 @rtenews Ehat about us farmers who barely have time to eat or sleep this time of year? Not a fear could I spend a week in Dublin nor can I manage without fuel. Maintain the protest in Dublin if needs be but open up the ports for God's sake. We'll pay whatever until something is sorted

@Liveshow730 @BoyneNews People need fuel or society breaks down. The show must go on. We can't all spend the week in dublin and at ports protesting. Government need to take action but protesters need to remember those at home needing fuel to survive. Free up the ports ASAP

Ger Brennan was reacting to that member of the Galway backroom team pushing Brian Howard. Hard to blame him. No member of a management should ever get involved with a player

It’s such a pity the club finals or another big GAA match isn’t on St Patrick’s day anymore . Was always the best way to enjoy our national holiday before it moved .

Armagh fans are travelling to Dublin this Sat for a 7pm league game in Croke. This fixture has been scheduled since autumn last year, giving @Translink_NI ample time to plan. Supporters deserve the same treatment as any other fans. Time for Translink to step up.

@SmallerFishGAA Until officials receive punishment for serious/obvious mistakes, they won't improve. Players and management can receive sanctions, only fair that officials do too

@irishnational10 @Ireland_Votes @ireland_thinks @TheSundayIndo More people healthy than sick. More people working than looking for work. More people with homes than homeless. Everyone would love more disposable income but there's a fear among many that it will decrease with the opposition in power. It's not broke for many so why fix it

@CahairOKane1 @TyroneGAALive Realistically there's nothing to stop a big crowd showing up to a league game at a club ground but capacity/facilities are the usual excuses against championship in club grounds. Double headers in county grounds probably easier for county board but clubs would love to host games

There are valid reasons to hold all your club championship games in your county ground. I understand them. I just don’t agree with them. The arguments to spread the love are far more compelling. @TyroneGAALive doing it right. Column below ⬇️ irishnews.com/gaa/gaelic-foo…

@SmallerFishGAA youtu.be/vKxvKJIoCVQ?fe… 4 handpasses followed by a kickpass that should have been a handpass in one of the greatest moves ever witnessed. Handpassing while moving forward is grand. Lateral and backwards handpasses are the problem.

I'm hearing the FRC trialled limiting the handpass last night. It has to be done - there are just too many handpasses I heard they trialled not being able to handpass twice in a row - that's too extreme 🙈 It's simple - 3 handpasses have to be followed by a kick and the kick HAS to go forward

@blowincat @SmallerFishGAA Now you can disregard offaly, Laois and galway in terms of Leinster ffs. There was electricity in offaly before there was hurling. Since 1980 galway and offaly have 6 all irelands. What the hell were the dubs at?

An awful hammering in the end. It'll be brushed over as hurling people like to focus on the positives. But a damp squib of the highest order for an All Ireland semi final

82,000 in the coliseum tomorrow for Cork v Dublin. The greatest game, a supreme spectacle. This mad, unique, beautiful sport. Summer's poem. Ireland's gold. Emotion on tap. 82,000. Raising Saturday to a place of heart quickening possibility. The long days. Ireland. Belonging.

Peter Keane “It is interesting this week now there seems to be a move by the Muster Council to go back to seeding Cork and Kerry, which I think would be a terrible move for football in the province," No Peter it's only terrible for you and Clare. What's terrible for the All Ireland championship is a division 3 team getting whipped with a -29 score diff Teams should be there on merit
