Let me get this right... you're saying that because we showed compassion and support when a family's week old baby died (as did a huge chunk of the wider football community...) you think he/they therefore 'owed' us something as a result?!?! What a fucking mental take that is 🗑️ And if you read the words I've used. Nowhere am I saying 'roll out the red carpet' for him. I hope we smash them. I'm just pointing out that it's possibly best to have some perspective and focus on getting behind our team, rather than directing misguided shanter at someone who, whatever way you look at it, ultimately left us in a better place than when he arrived, even under tragic circumstances. The additional irony is, most of the people throwing the 🐍 line about where LM is concerned, probably wanted him "out" at some point anyway.

Before people get too carried away with their "banter" next weekend, can we all just take a minute to remind ourselves of what our former Head Coach went through last October. Must be pretty much a year to the day since Liam Manning and his family lost baby Theo — something no parent should ever have to go through. And something that I know affected a great many of us deeply. Despite that, not only did he drag himself out of the pits of hell, but he came back and took us to our highest league position in nearly 20 years... If that doesn't deserve our respect, then I honestly don't know what does. Support our lads, of course we want the win. But let's do it in a way that reflects the best of us, with class, compassion and perspective when it comes to LM... 🙏🏽 ❤️🤍

Don’t think we’ve had a terrible window, most importantly kept hold of our most important players and have improved on positions we desperately needed (apart from a 2nd string striker). Randall, Riis, Vitek superb signings🙌🏻 we go again in January 🤣
