Oxford University researchers have discovered the densest element yet known to science... The new element, Governmentium (symbol=Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called pillocks. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. It's a shame this is paywalled. It details that the Herald has "unearthed a Cabinet paper, in Hipkins’ name, from March 2022 that includes the advice". For some reason the paper never made it to the Covid Inquiry.

It is rumoured (strongly) that the National Party has decided to limit the public exposure of PM Luxon. So how does this make sense? Going into an election with a leader so unlikable he can't even be seen to be fronting the party? It only proves that a man with Luxon's immature political ideas should never have been elected leader of Sid Holland's original mission driven National Party. We can thank that other useless political chameleon & Sinophile John Key for that terrible mistake. The National Party has been gradually infiltrated by progressives hardly distinguishable from those in the Labour party & now the Nats are done. They await the same miserable fate that has befallen the Liberals in Australia & the Conservatives in the UK & the Republicans in the US. New Zealand has MMP & today it makes sense to use it. In 2026, there are far better voting options than making the dying National party the leader of any centre right coalition.
