@HGBB33 @WarrenLowe1 To be fair, those players qualified via parents or in the case of Manu and the Vunipolas, came as children and developed their game here. Benhardt did none of the former.

I just don't feel great about this. Excellent player and I'm sure he would do great on the international stage... I would just prefer fellas that grew up wanting to play for England like Ojomoh, Northmore, Hartley etc in there.

@Tobias_Everton @WarrenLowe1 I assume you're referring to Tuilagi and Vunipola brothers. Manu at least came to England as a 13 y/o and developed his game and became an Englishman, while the Vunipola brothers came as children as well. If Benhardt grew up/developed here, i don't think many would have an issue

@WarrenLowe1 I appreciate the desire to keep your side English - I really do, look at Ireland, a disgrace. But why was this never voiced for the many Polynesian players that have played for England? Fear of being called racist? It's not like this is the first non-English born player for Eng.

@WarrenLowe1 It's also a massive slap in the face to the other English players who are (imo) on the same level as him, i.e, very good.
