@duCares hi, can someone look into why an account has been set up in my wife’s name (despite me emailing to clarify I did not want one). Now a bill has been sent to her!Lots of confusion due to different sales agents telling us conflicting information (no doubt to get commission)

@VHPS_DeputyHead @VHPrimary It used to be called ‘lunchtime’ back in the UK! Often it is hard to get this social time during the day together with colleagues in Dubai I’ve found.

A few years ago, I introduced the concept of 'Fika' to @VHPrimary It was much loved but sadly Covid stole that joy from us. It was great today to get the whole school together to have a wonderful Fika. Wellbeing in action. #VHPSRocks #VHPSWellbeing

@mr_alfredb Perhaps I was seeing them too much from the perspective of a teacher than the child though and maybe involving them more in the process might have had greater impact. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@mr_alfredb Ideally, I would prefer to give them regular independent writing opportunities throughout the year where they can demonstrate their skills in a range of genres. Then you will get to know where the general gaps lie.

@mr_alfredb I remember doing them for every genre at one point and felt there was quite a bit of time ‘wasted’,especially when the curriculum is already squeezed.Although some children clearly demonstrated a greater understanding at the time,it didn’t necessarily change how I taught the unit
