Kemi Badenoch, woeful again at #PMQs. One question about Madelson fine. Two, OK. Six — this way madness lies. Starmer dodged, granted, but after the third question he just started attacking — fair game. Badenoch had an opportunity to ask about the cost of living, petrol prices or the meningitis outbreak — things that the public would like more information on. She came across as obsessive and unwilling to pivot.

If Spurs get relegated they're the biggest team to get relegated since...who? Man City in 2001? But they weren't 'that' big then. Do we have to go back to Spurs in 1977. Or Man United in 1974?

@F1Media Will the upgrades include the ability to mute Palmer's and Jacques' voices when they start sucking up to Helpstappen? How about Coulthard? Have you removed Helpstappen's fan card number 004 from the commentary? That would be a breath of fresh air!

There were 8 main titles in the Command & Conquer franchise, excluding expansion packs. Probably safe to say it is among the most popular RTS franchises of all time. Which part was your favourite? I will go with Generals from 2003. Command & Conquer (1995) Command & Conquer: Red Alert (1996) Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (1999) Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 (2000) Command & Conquer: Generals (2003) Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (2007) Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 (2008) Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight (2010)

I have a confession. I loved the UK. I’ve read every James Bond novel. Watched every film twice. I love their naval history, their deadpan humor, their novelists. Maybe it’s because I grew up poor, but my parents saved for years to take me to London when I was five. My mom’s family traces back to colonial Britain. I’ve been to Buckingham Palace. Met the royals. I even love their mediocre food. Bangers and mash, yum! And my grandfather, who navigated B-24s, kissed the ground when he landed back on British soil. I visited the spot. I kissed the ground too. And my dad, a fireman in the Bronx, hosted exchange fireman from Sheffield who filled our house with laughter and camaraderie that overshadowed the complaints from Irish Catholics at our church. 49 years of genuine love and respect. Not performance. Not anglophilia. Real. So it genuinely pains me to say this: I am struggling, right now, today, to give a single shit about them. I spent a week there this summer with my daughter trying to rekindle that appreciation in me. Mostly failed. UK friends, I’m not being rhetorical. I’m asking sincerely. Give me one reason. Not 1944. Not the Special Relationship as a concept. A reason for today. Give me one half a sh!t reason. Because I’m looking and I’m coming up with nothing.

@KemiBadenoch @MartinSLewis @GMB It was good to see a genuine debate between two people who genuinely care about this topic. Too often we get robotic non-relevant responses from our MPs. We need more of our political leaders having these honest debates in the more public forums

Hi @MartinSLewis, thank you. I really appreciate that, and honestly, don’t worry. I do love a feisty debate! It helps people understand what the real issues are. You and I agree on the principle: student loans have become a scam. It took me eight years to pay mine off. I made my last payment in 2011, and I remember how happy I was, and my debt was only £14,000. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be a young person with £40,000 debt today. Whatever the Coalition government brought in back in 2012, it’s clearly not working for the world of 2026. So I’d genuinely love to come on your show and debate my plan vs yours. I’m putting student loans on the political agenda because we’ve got to do more for young people. It’s just one part of our New Deal For Young People. As the opposition, Conservatives may not be able to change the law right now, certainly not without cross-party support, but we can set the agenda especially while the government seems distracted by all sorts of other things. In the meantime, I’ll keep doing my job: setting out practical solutions and showing how we can make life in this country better, especially for young people. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Dear @KemiBadenoch, apologies for gate crashing your @GMB interview today. Student loans are so life-impacting that I wanted to ensure the key point was made - that financially, if not psychologically, the repayment threshold is a bigger issue than the interest, (as I explain here: x.com/MartinSLewis/s…) Thank you for being so courteous after the interruption - you handled it far better than I would have the other way round. I have asked my office to request a meeting, if you are available, to discuss this more calmly.

@PolitlcsUK We actually need to see more of this, a genuine debate between two people with contrasting thoughts rather than the robotic nature of generic MP answers. Regardless of if these two agree or not, its important to have these debates, it's how we learn and compromise

@RegenHunters Play with a negative mindset and get a negative result. I'm finding this years title more of a skill challenge for me personally with the IP/OOP tactics. Yes there is still the occasional bug, but its a game built from scratch made to increase the potential of future editions

Alright, I've completed another season in #FM26 - Confirmation, the game just doesn't give you that feeling you're managing a football club like previous FM games, there is no immersion to the game or the club you're managing. You really do just feel like you're clicking around and just waiting to see what score your games are. Near enough every save I did on FM24, felt like a story, I wanted to jump back on and play it when I wasn't at home, I wanted to see what would happen in other leagues and see how Youth Intake players progressed. Absolutely none of that in FM26, I REALLY, REALLY hope that with FM27, they get it right, make it better, otherwise I fear in a few years people will give up and it will be dead.

@nocontextfm1 I find the final chart the most interesting.Theres still over twice as many players playing 26 as 24,but the loud minority would have you think its the reverse. The silent majority love the game and have no issues. The bandwagon social accounts are the ones keeping things negative

Very few FM players know this 👀 V2 Get a top-level Technical Director. Find someone elite at judging staff ability and negotiating — then give him full responsibility for your U19 staff hiring & firing. Let him build your academy structure. They’ll recruit the right profiles, move on the weak links, and keep standards high. Also hand him control over staff coaching courses. He’ll continuously upgrade your backroom quality without you micromanaging it. Don’t forget — running a club is a team effort. 🎯⚽ Review the changes. Approve the vision. Win long-term. #FM26

@DoctorBenjy To try to put in a constructive reply, I'm really enjoying FM26, however, I'm incredibly tired of the negativity on social media that I'm steering clear of the "is FM cooked?!?!" videos that the hype train has brought about. Everyone has their opinion, I respect that

Hard to summarise 60 replies from creators about #FM26 but it feels like an overwhelming sense of disappointment lingers over the FM scene currently. Not as many videos, not as many streamers streaming and it'll take something pretty wild to bring it back to normal before FM27
