Day 31 – Wednesday of the Fifth Week of Lent Theme: Faithfulness in the Fire Scripture: Daniel 3:17–18 – “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us… But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods.” Invocation of the Holy Spirit Holy Spirit, strength of the faithful, give me courage to remain true to God in every trial. Meditation Lord, the three young men stood before the fire rather than betray their fidelity to You. Their faith was not conditional on rescue; it was rooted in trust. They believed You could save them, yet they remained faithful even if deliverance did not come as expected. This reveals mature faith – loving You for who You are, not only for what You give. I often seek security and quick solutions, but discipleship sometimes passes through testing. The fire exposes what is truly first in my heart. Lent invites me to deeper loyalty, where obedience is not dependent on comfort. You do not abandon those who trust You; You are present even in the furnace. Petition Father, give me steadfast faith when I face pressure, fear, or uncertainty. Keep my heart loyal to You above all. Resolution Today I will choose fidelity to God in one difficult situation, even if it costs comfort or approval. Closing Prayer Lord Jesus, You are with Your people in every trial. Strengthen my faith so that I remain faithful in ease and in difficulty. May this Lent purify my love and make my trust firm. Amen. (Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.)

Day 32 – Thursday of the Fifth Week of Lent Theme: Covenant Fidelity and God’s Promises Scripture: Genesis 17:7 – “I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you… for an everlasting covenant.” Invocation of the Holy Spirit Holy Spirit, Spirit of promise, deepen my trust in God’s faithful covenant. Meditation Lord, You reveal Yourself as a God who makes and keeps covenant – my Covenant keeping God. Your relationship with Your people is not casual but committed and enduring. Even when human fidelity weakens, Your faithfulness remains. You bind Yourself by promise, showing that Your love is stable and trustworthy. Lent reminds me that my faith rests not only on my effort but on Your initiative and grace. You call me, like Abraham, to walk before You in trust and obedience. Covenant means belonging – living as one who is in relationship with You. Each day is an opportunity to renew that belonging through faith and fidelity. Your promises extend beyond the moment into generations. Petition Father, strengthen my trust in Your promises. Help me to live as one who belongs to Your covenant. Resolution Today I will renew my commitment to God in a simple prayer of fidelity, offering my day and choices to Him. Closing Prayer Lord Jesus, You are the fulfilment of the Father’s covenant. Keep me faithful to the relationship You have established with me. May this Lent deepen my trust in Your promises and my desire to walk in Your ways. Amen. (Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.)

Prayer to Our Lady Undoer of Knot O Blessed Virgin Mary, Undoer of Knots, Mother of mercy and hope, I come to you with a heart weighed down by the tangles of life. The knots of doubt, sickness, difficulties, anxiety, and struggle tighten around me, Stealing my breath and clouding my path. With your loving hands, O Mother, Gently unravel these knots that bind me. Loosen the fears that grip my soul, Untie the worries that choke my peace, And guide me to the freedom of your Son’s love. Help me breathe again, O Mary, With the calm and trust of a child in your care. Lead me through this tangled moment To the light of Christ’s grace and truth. O Mary, Undoer of Knots, intercede for me, And restore my heart to hope and serenity. Amen.

My Guardian Angel O Guardian Angel, sent from the throne of God, my faithful companion from the cradle of my soul, stand beside me this day and every day that follows. Wrap me in the shadow of your wings when the sun burns too fiercely, and light my path when night swallows the stars. Whisper courage into my trembling heart when fear coils like smoke, and steady my hand when doubt would make it falter. Defend me in the unseen battles, where arrows of malice fly unheard; shield me from the snares of despair, and lift me when my knees buckle beneath the weight of sorrow. Guide every step through the wilderness of this world, through crowded streets and silent rooms, through laughter and tears, triumphs and falls. Let no moment slip from your watchful gaze, no breath escape without your blessing. Today, tomorrow, and beyond the edge of time, remain my sentinel, my advocate, my friend. Through that sacred bond of charity which united you to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God and through the fatherly love with which you embraced the Child Jesus, we humbly beg you to look graciously upon the beloved inheritance which Jesus Christ purchased by his blood, and to aid us in our necessities with your power and strength. O most provident guardian of the Holy Family, defend the chosen children of Jesus Christ. Most beloved father, dispel the evil of falsehood and sin. Our most mighty protector, graciously assist us from heaven in our struggle with the powers of darkness.
