If the data center is
1. 100% privately funded (no bonds, no taxes, etc)
2. Using water shares from the existing land / privately obtained water shares (not shares made from thin air randomly)
3. Creating it's own electricity
4. Not government entangled/influenced
5. Paying the same taxes/rates as everyone else the entire time
Then sure, build it. The second you start offering a 92% tax reduction I'm going to oppose it, regardless of the industry.

I stopped at a Maverik in Saratoga Springs, Utah and was shocked.
I was the only White person in there. Everyone looked Central / South American. Only Spanish being spoken.
They’re packing so many foreigners in Utah there’s no separation between the houses now. Just miles and miles of high density housing.
Insane. The Utah we once knew is gone.

SELF DEPORT SENTENCE: A man convicted of attacking a 12-year-old during a doorbell ditch incident in West Jordan has been sentenced to probation and ordered to self-deport.
Tony Arnold Bernstone, 59, was convicted in April of second-degree felony child kidnapping. He was sentenced to 48 months of probation, and a separate misdemeanor child abuse charge was dismissed with prejudice.
The charges stem from an August 2025 incident where police say Bernstone chased a group of children on a bicycle after they rang his doorbell and ran. Court documents say he caught a 12-year-old, grabbed him by the neck, slapped him multiple times and hit him in the stomach.

A Texas firefighter who spent decades serving his community has been identified as the hiker who died after a fall at Zion National Park.
Gilberto Ramos, 68, of Laredo, fell from the chained section of the Angels Landing trail around 2 p.m. on April 17. Park officials say he lost his balance and fell in a steep, narrow section of the hike.
Ramos dedicated 35 years to the Laredo Fire Department, rising to the rank of district chief, and also served as an EMT. He began his career with the Webb County Fire Department and spent 40 years working with the Laredo Fire Department Credit Union.
In his obituary, his family described a man of deep faith who lived a life of service and compassion, committed to helping others and strengthening his community.
Park rangers and local law enforcement recovered his body in Zion Canyon. Officials say the trail includes significant risks, with steep elevations and limited space near the cliff’s edge, and are reminding hikers to use caution.

Getting a little anxious about my house not selling in Vegas. Been on the market for months, even reduced the price 5k, not a single offer.
I’m in no rush to sell it, but this is a problem. It’s about $450k, in nearly perfect shape, clean, modernized, I don’t understand what’s going on. It’s not even in an HOA which is SO hard to find in that area. Plus it’s a safe neighborhood, another hard find.

Essentially, auto companies worldwide are venturing into the field of humanoid robots to varying degrees,whether through application, R&D, or investment. However, few are like XPENG:a "Physical AI" company that covers the entire vertical stack,from software to hardware, from foundational infrastructure (AI chips, foundation models, etc.) to manufacturing, and finally to the closed-loop application of real-world scenarios. So, the branches are diverging,the ultimate forms that these various humanoid robot ecosystems take will be distinct from one another. The future is wild.
