I have a question for my fellow authors. Is anyone else overwhelmed by the second draft? Part of me is so eager to finish my book, but another part knows that if I don't slow down and work through the hard parts, it will never become the book I know it can be. At the same time, I don't want to rush it or force it because I know readers can feel that on the page. Is this just part of the writing process? Or is it an ADHD thing? 😅 Please tell me I'm not the only one. My sweet girl is 12½ and my heart is so full watching her light shine brighter every single day. This Sunday she will receive her patriarchal blessing, and the very next day she starts flight camp. She has always known exactly who she is and what she’s meant to do—even before she came to this earth. Before I was even pregnant with her, I felt a strong spiritual impression to bring her into our family. Out of my five children, that feeling was uniquely powerful with her. On the way to the ultrasound to find out her gender, a name came to my mind so forcefully I knew without a doubt I was having a girl. I wasn’t even sure I loved the name at first, so I kept tossing other ideas around. Then one day while cleaning, I felt impressed to combine my mom’s and stepmom’s middle names into one. I started laughing out loud because it was exactly the same name that had come to me weeks earlier on that drive to the ultrasound. She is strong-willed, determined, and a true warrior. Just yesterday she told me she wants to open a savings account to save for three main things—in this order: 1) Serve a mission, 2) Flight school so she can become a pilot, and 3) A car (plus anything else she might want). She’s only 12½. I’m in awe of her faith, her vision, and her heart. The Lord has big plans for this one, and I feel so honored to be her mom. Grateful for patriarchal blessings, for flight camp dreams taking off, and for a daughter who reminds me every day what it means to trust in the Lord’s timing and follow His promptings with courage. @FoxsFoxes In Stake Conference a month and a half ago, there was a child who gave his talk in Spanish and English. I thought that was neat. At least he was considerate enough to do that. We had many people in the congregation that spoke both languages though.

Returned sister missionary just bore her testimony in Spanish to a ward where nobody speaks Spanish. Imagine how much more everyone would have been edified had we been able to understand the words.

A thought came to me during EQ. The Priesthood is the bones of the Church. Revelation is the heart pumping the blood, keeping the body alive.

Just found out that a GREAT family in our ward lost their son last night. Motorcycle accident. Died in the ER. He'd recently returned from.his mission. Gave a fantastic homecoming talk. Really sharp, handsome kid.

Yeah I've tried numerous times to sell crocheted items. The most success I had were the Elsa dolls at an outdoor event. I did okay with making banners but that got super trendy and saturated. Now the banner thing has kinda died out. But I have a really good idea in the works. We'll see if it works out.

@Bless_ThisMess7 I would say the crochet market is extremely saturated (I’m in it 😮‍💨🤣) and it’s difficult to get paid for the amount of time it takes to make each item imo but other crafts that are faster to make I would definitely recommend it!!

I tried liking her when she was on the DW. But her insistent referring to herself in the 3rd person gave me the ick and I ultimately unsubscribed because of her. Since then it's been a huge crazy spiral and now I've muted her. I can't get aboard that crazy train.
