I’m finally going to the temple.

My favorite scripture has hit me hard today. But it brings me peace. I'm grateful for the amazing gift of the Atonement to help in difficult times. It gives light at the end of the tunnel.

Please I’m begging for prayers for my sister. She had surgery yesterday and is now on life support.😭😭😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏please Heavenly help her.

One of the saddest questions in all of scripture is Moses 4:17 “And I, the Lord God, said unto Adam: Who told thee thou wast naked?” Who told thee… God mournfully asks Adam why he’s listening to voices outside of His voice. How often do we let other people or our own negative voice take us off the path leading to eternal joy with God? Remember what Brigham Young taught, “If you have a bad thought about yourself, tell it to go to Hell because that is exactly where it came from.”

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Guys I really need prayers 🥺. Yesterday, my son turned 18. I went to wish him Happy Birthday only to find his things gone & a 5 pg letter telling me he hates me & he's leaving the church. This came out of nowhere. He's been lying to everyone for over a year. I'm shattered. #LDSX

@Bless_ThisMess7 Is there a name, or even part of a name, that we can put on the temple prayer rolls for you. Family challenges are the hardest challenges on earth, but God is in relentless pursuit of all of us. He never gives up and His reach extends beyond everything we understand.

@pimomormon I'm so sorry you weren't told this. That breaks my heart. I've told my children, especially this child, how much I love him. I've told him many times nothing he could ever do would make me stop loving him. His mind has been twisted so much. My DMs are open if you want to talk.🫶🏼

A suggestion to those seeing this post: tell your kids you’ll love them no matter what, and show them. Be a safe space for your kids. I didn’t hear these things as a kid. I’m not saying I know anything in this situation. I’m speaking from my experience alone.

@JanaB5555 Oh we found him within an hour. He's 3 miles away....only 5 minutes. But we're going to give him space and respect his wishes to not contact him.

@Bless_ThisMess7 The first thing I would be thinking/worrying about is where did my 18 year old go? That is the first priority! Then you need to look at that letter and try to understand what is going on. But, find him first

@tnsampson2 @shaun_barrowes No they don't appreciate it. It's unfortunately generational. My Dad and uncles are more so than me. My kids are now picking it up. Like I said in another comment. I'm not a perfect parent. But who is?
