Everyone in the world knows Angel capital needs room, James Mcdonald proceeds to bury him on the fence. World's best today

@JamieDillon19 @matt__nicholls A hypothetical comparing eras. What’s not a hypothetical is that his peers voted him the best player in the game last year, in his fourth season. Ablett was voted best player in the comp in his sixth year.

Nick Daicos is an absolute gun but I'm hearing people say he's going to be the best they've seen. I hope those same people were too young to see Gary Ablett Jnr's 2010 season because nothing compares this century IMO. Daicos would have to find two more levels to reach GAJ.

@JamieDillon19 @matt__nicholls Nick’s got three All Australians in four years mate. Ablett had 9 Brownlow votes in four years. Nine. Daicos has had 25 BOGs. It’s not even a debate

@DamienRactliffe @matt__nicholls Different roles first 5 seasons. Played more as a forward and we know forwards dont poll. You're a pies supporter aonvery biased i follow neither team. But like i said nick would want to go up about 3 cogs from next year. Different game now as well. Cant touch Nick.

@JamieDillon19 @matt__nicholls I agree Ablett’s peak is well clear of what Daicos has done. But Daicos’ first 5 seasons is miles ahead of what Ablett did. So let’s see if Daicos can get to another level.

@DamienRactliffe @matt__nicholls I'd disagree with that. He kicked 130 odd goals in his first 5 years different players early on. Nick would want to something special next year to match year 6. Then the next 10 after that

@matt__nicholls Ablett’s ninth season. Daicos is in his 5th. What Daicos has to do to get to that level is kick bags of goals, that’s the only thing holding him back.

Aeiliana just would of won today. Waller cost himself and owners by worrying about an unbeaten streak. #aeliana #autumnglow

@Jackson_Oldham1 @WillElford Waller will avoid at all cost. He is too worried about unbeaten streaks. The Autumn Sun should of gone to the Cox Plate. Hard on the unders.

Realistically, how many times do we see Autumn Glow race Sheza Alibi in the next 18 months? Under/Over 1.5

I think more likely a Pride of Jenni tempo could set up a 110+ figure from Autumn Glow, just as it did for Via Sistina in her first Cox Plate. The thing about Autumn Glow is she can travel at the early tempo of a bonafide Group 1 lead horse, sustain or increase through the mid section and kick again late. She could probably be 15 lengths off Jenni at the 800m and still win by 5.

Could Pride Of Jenni’s blistering pace open the door for another horse to defeat Autumn Glow in the Queen Elizabeth? MORE: bit.ly/3NUbHKx

@stoolpresidente Terrible look for barstool. Riggs more worried about getting to hang with him than do his job.

Has a horse ever broke its Maiden in a Group 1 race? Maybe Cap Ferrat? Federalist will look to do so this weekend in the Rosehill Guineas, wild. #Rosehill

Could an un-raced country trained 2YO emerge in a major city stable and be a late @sportsbetcomau Blue Diamond contender off @MelbRacingClub trials this morning. Is paid-up, as much as $201 with sponsors while @tabcomau now into $101. HK offers off jump-out rejected before today.
