In recent weeks, I have watched as the Government has undermined Britain’s economic credibility & fractured our Party irreparably. Enough is enough. I have written to the Prime Minister to ask her to stand down as she no longer holds the confidence of this country.

Mark Drakeford’s refusal to hold an inquiry has let down those who have lost loved ones across Wales. In Parliament, I have continuously called for a Wales-only Covid inquiry. Welsh Labour want more power without accountability.

Her Majesty the Queen served our country and the Commonwealth and the best values of our Nation for her whole life. She will be an inspiration for all of us as we mourn her loss.

The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

My thoughts are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time.
