Do any dog trainers follow me? I love my mini goldendoodle but he is the most high strung and behaviorally challenging dog I have ever owned. He is the sweetest thing but is extremely reactive. When I take him out in public he gets so excited around people and other animals that he can’t be controlled. This is posing an issue with the new kitten in our home. He gets in his face and is jumpy and barks at him which scares him. He’s the friendliest little guy ever and just wants to play and say hi but he does not respect personal space. I have been working so hard to train him over the last 10 months and there’s not much progress. I’m losing hope. 😪

Public transportation in Texas all cities is not used by most and just sucks. Everything else is great minus the brutal summers June-mid October.

After living in Austin metro for the last 5 years, I can attest that this area of the country is AWESOME. But two HUGE drawbacks: The growth is CRAZY, which means that regions will get disrupted very quickly. Where you end up living might look completely different in 3 years. And the summers are SUPER hot.

Too often, couples go into marriage with unrealistic expectations - and that leads to many divorces. I'm not talking about egregious violations of vows, I'm talking about the (many) marriages that end because couples have "grown apart" or "there's no spark" or "we no longer have 'the magic' we had." Marriage isn't always fireworks and the earth moving or having the 'butterflies' when he/she looks at you that you had on your first date. It changes and grows. Marriage is work. It's compromise. It's putting your spouse first in your heart. It's not going to bed angry. It's allowing the first blush of love to deepen into something richer and deeper. We live in a microwave world where we are too conditioned to getting things immediately, and that bleeds over into our relationships.
