Why is crucial to be proactive when it comes to spotting vulnerabilities in web3? ⚠️ In Web2 security If data on a server is encrypted by ransomware, it can be “rolled back” to a clean version from a backup. However, in web3, if attacks occur on the blockchain, these cannot be reversed. This highlights the importance of prevention instead of remediation. Compared to web2, security of decentralised systems needs to be more proactive and prevention-focused, rather than response-focused.
