@POTFES I generally avoid taking my bike on any trains, and when I absolutely have to, like for a move, I take it on long distance trains, where you have to reserve a bike space beforehand and have some peace of mind.

De Havilland built the first commercial jet airliner, immediately nailing the most beautiful jet airliner design possible and then we just didn't use that again. Sad. God I miss the british aviation industry. It's so boring now that everything is either Boeing or Airbus.

@writerofscratch It's very much the same Cho line, it switches between JR East and Central at Shiojiri. Also has full limited express coverage (Shinano from Nagoya to Shiojiri and Azusa from Shiojiri to Tokyo)
