PM Carney doubled Trudeauโ€™s $31B deficit, then โ€œbeat expectationsโ€ by delivering a $65.3B instead of $65.4B deficit today. Thatโ€™s sorta like telling your spouse youโ€™ll spend $150 at Costco, text from the parking lot โ€œmaybe $300,โ€ walking out at $298, and announcing you showed โ€œtremendous restraint in there.โ€ The media called it better than expected. You might not get that grace at home.

BREAKING NEWS Canada Health Infoway CEO Michael Green, refused to tell Parliament how much taxpayer money the Liberals paid him to manage PrescribeIT. Now we know why. He pocketed over $830,000 last year which included a maximum performance award of over $215,000. The Liberals gave Infoway $300+ MILLION for PrescribeIT, a program that failed to replace fax machines and is now being quietly shut down. Performance awards are supposed to reward performance, not failure. So why was the CEO of this failed Liberal program paid millions of tax dollars in maximum performance awards? The Health Minister had the authority to audit and evaluate Canada Health Infoway. She failed miserably. Canadians deserve answers.

Jason, youโ€™ve been on this longer than most, but donโ€™t you think itโ€™s time ALL Canadians to be looped in? ๐Ÿ‘€ Let me break this down in plain English so EVERYONE can understand whatโ€™s happening to their money ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Here are the bills being passed by your government โ€” and what in means for you: ๐Ÿ“œ Bill S-206 โ€” a national framework for Universal Basic Income for every Canadian over 17. The Parliamentary Budget Officer estimates the gross cost: $107 billion. Canada's total federal liabilities are already at $2.182 trillion. Per-person federal debt: $56,432. Canada's finances have deteriorated faster than any other G7 country. So where does the money come from? ๐Ÿ“œ Bill C-15 gives the Bank of Canada regulatory control over every stablecoin issuer in the country. ๐Ÿ“œ Bill C-22 forces telecom and internet providers to store metadata on every Canadian for up to a year. No warrant required. ๐Ÿ“œ Bill C-8 lets a single minister cut off your phone and internet โ€” no judge, no trial, no notice. Digital money + digital surveillance + digital kill switch. Three separate bills. One architecture. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ And the man pushing all of it through Parliament will personally choose the next Governor General โ€” the only person who signs these bills into law. Every claim sourced. All on the public record. ๐Ÿงพ We give Canadians the receipts they haven't seen yet. Follow if you think the government needs to be held accountable ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ ๐Ÿซก
Jason Lavigne@JasonLavigneAB

I don't want to say "I told you so" on this one. However, I told you so. First, Universal Basic Income (UBI) will bankrupt Canada, by design, and is how Carney will justify taking International Monetary Fund (IMF) loans. Second, the shift to central bank digital currency (CBDC) will be completed very soon after UBI and IMF loans. Warning to all who holds crypto. For governments to complete the CBDC plans, they will have to tank the bitcoin market and possibly offer a bailout (fractions of a penny on the dollar) to shift everyone to CBDC via IMF loans and forever ending all other cryptos. Always remember, "You will own nothing, and be happy."

๐Ÿšจ BREAKING: The ethics committee just recommended: Prime Ministers must SELL their assets within 60 days of taking office. Not a blind trust. Sell them. And must fully divest from tax havens. This is aimed DIRECTLY at Mark Carney. Who chaired Brookfield funds worth $30 BILLION registered in Bermuda AND the Cayman Islands. Heโ€™s got 103 companies on his conflict of interest screen. Not to mention, his conflict screen is run by his own chief of staff and Clerk of the Privy Council, BOTH POLITICAL APPOINTMENTS. The committee passed this WITH opposition support. Carneyโ€™s response? Within days of winning his majority, he announced plans to restructure parliamentary committees so Liberals have control. I could have sworn I saw CTV yesterday saying that committees arenโ€™t a big deal & we should stop complaining. ๐Ÿง

We cannot solely blame global factors when Canadaโ€™s food prices are rising faster than all other G7 countries, which face the same factors. The Carney Liberals' money-printing deficits and high taxes have inflated everything and helped giveย Canada the worst household debt, the worst housing costs and the worst food inflation in the G7.ย  We donโ€™t need another speech. EXCLUSIVE: Ottawa Quietly Adds TIME Magazine to Canadian Journalism Subsidy List By Nick Shelly, Independent Journalist April 19, 2026 OTTAWA โ€” Canadian taxpayers may soon be helping foot the bill for TIME magazineโ€™s glowing coverage of Prime Minister Mark Carney. According to sources at Canadian Heritage, the department is fast-tracking TIME for eligibility under the Canada Periodical Fund after the U.S. publication ranked Carney second on its 2026 Most Influential Leaders list. The profile, written by Christine Lagarde, praised his โ€œcrisis steering,โ€ climate warnings, and push for global cooperation. TIME took office? No โ€” Carney did, in March 2025 after Trudeauโ€™s resignation, winning the April election and securing a majority via bye-elections on April 13. While supporters cheer his centrist steadiness, critics like Pierre Poilievre blame earlier policies for ongoing inflation and question his financial track record. A government insider put it plainly: โ€œThey understand Carneyโ€™s vision. That makes them part of the Canadian media family now.โ€ The move expands โ€œCanadian contentโ€ to include international outlets that deliver favourable coverage of the Prime Minister. Exact funding amounts remain unclear, but the program has already directed millions to โ€œdiverse voicesโ€ aligned with national priorities. When asked for comment, Canadian Heritage said it supports journalism that โ€œstrengthens democracy.โ€ Critics call it something else: buying influence with taxpayer dollars. This reporter has requested documents and will update as they arrive. Canadians deserve to know whose โ€œmost influentialโ€ list their money is subsidizing. Nick Shelly reports on government accountability and media funding. No subsidies received.

๐Ÿšจ Liz Truss isnโ€™t holding back on Mark Carneyโ€™s track record. From QE addiction to "woke" central banking, sheโ€™s calling out the "pathetic performance" that set the stage for economic chaos. As @MarkJCarney leads Canada into 2026, her warnings are hitting closer to home than ever. ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ #CdnPoli #UKPoli #LizTruss #MarkCarney

Mark Carney left the Bank of England in 2020. Inflation in the UK spiked in 2022 because of Covid. Pierre Poilievre is blaming Mark Carney for Covid Inflation. That's how much bullshit he spreads.
