@gorskon The risk of death and encephalitis you mentioned is real, but it's very low. The risk of death after vaccination is 1 in 10,000, while the risk of encephalitis is 1 in 1-20,000, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

@JohnWDean I think this statement is too arbitrary and extreme. First, we have no conclusive evidence that Elmo actually had a drug addiction problem. Even if Elmo did have an addiction problem, that wouldn't necessarily require him to sell Twitter/X and withdraw from the public eye.

In 2017 Republicans passed an #ACA repeal plan through the House, which Trump celebrated at a WH ceremony, and brought another repeal plan to the Senate floor, which Trump endorsed as well. Both had the effect of raising costs & cutting access for core GOP constituencies
