Think I might be in a minority of one but Miriam Margolyes is arguably the most unfunny individual ever to be hailed as a national treasure. Seems to get kudos by being 80+, swearing a lot and chatting shit… I could do two of those.

@valeriestorey I've been going to something similar, a 'bereavement cafe', once a month. I wish it was more frequently, but it's currently my 'happy' and 'safe' place . #grief

@valeriestorey I sympathise. Just as I thought I was on top of my #sadmin yesterday I had a letter from the Inland Revenue demanding I fill in a tax return for my late fiance. WTF! How the hell am I meant to do that?

@to_widow @LCullumbine @Bingley70 My fiance was in hospital having recovered from pneumonia and sepsis and was due to be discharged. But then I got the dreaded 4am phone call and was told he'd died in his sleep. I'm still in denial, 10 weeks on.

@LCullumbine @Bingley70 @JaneTyler4 I am so sorry Lynn. It doesn't make sense does it. My husband was told everything was normal but seemingly not. Too many things have no symptoms, go undetected, or are not investigated. And many lives are shattered.

9 months ago, almost to the minute, we failed to save my lovely, fit, handsome, kind husband from cardiac arrest. A brutal and shocking moment/loss that will affect me forever. In just a few hours though I will wake to celebrate our eldest's 21st. Bless her. Best face on.

@to_widow Oh my lovely. It will only be 6 weeks on Saturday since my wonderful Steve went the same way. I tried so very hard to save him, but he'd already gone. I'm still in total shock, still want him back, still can't believe it. I'm with you for your eldests 21st. You've got this ❤️
