New episode of At The Table with Head of @fuboTV Studios & @fuboSports Network, Pamela Duckworth (@DuckyNY), is out now! From launching one of the first FAST sports networks in just three months (even though CEO @davidgandler wanted it done in 2!) to turning a late-night experiment with @bareknucklefc into a @fuboTV minority-investment, Pam has pioneered what modern streaming looks like. Host, @GanunLester gets into: - Why FAST gives networks freedom to experiment - The surprising staying power of Pay-Per-View - Building niche sports into scalable brands It's a sharp conversation on having thick skin, strategically throwing stuff at a wall & seeing what sticks, and always moving quick. youtu.be/CqO9K4yMjXQ?si…

When it comes to leadership style, "what you see is what you get" with Pam Duckworth. "And I'm never gonna change". Pam has cultivated a space where her team members feel welcomed and supported, but pushed to reach their potential. "I have an open door." It's no surprise @fuboTV has had so much success over the years. The leadership team has created an incredibly healthy environment for collaboration where even the craziest of ideas are allowed to be thrown around. Pam's one rule: "you have to have thick skin". @GanunLester @HowieLongShort

The FAST environment is an extremely effective way for up-and-coming leagues to break through. Pam Duckworth walks through how a late-night experiment with @bareknucklefc led to @fuboTV investing into the emerging league.

Head of @fuboSports, Pam Duckworth, talks about the fun she had @DIRECTV. "Peyton and @EliManning are like my brothers! We did something called Football On Your Phone with Peyton and Eli, and we went down to New Orleans, which is where they're from, and we took over Bourbon Street. And we did the wackiest [thing]. You have to look it up. We got them to wear like NSYNC wigs and they sing, they rap. It was just the time of our lives." It all makes sense! @OmahaProd.

Running National Advertising @DIRECTV was a dream job for Pam. That's where she met her lifelong friend @ConSchwartz...years later Pam and Con (@fuboTV🤝 @SMAC) teamed up on Evolution of the Black Quarterback with @MichaelVick. Pam talks about throwing what became THE Super Bowl for @DIRECTV -- the Beach Bowl. Ryan Schinman, who was running Platinum Rye at the time, got @falloutboy to perform on a 50K budget. Peak 2000s culture!! And everyone showed out over the years. @serenawilliams, @michaelstrahan, @DeionSanders, @TomArnold, @KimKardashian, @sc & @Beyonce. "Honestly, this was such a fun event"

Head of @fuboSports & @fuboTV Studios, Pam Duckworth, keeps it real. "You don't have to be the smartest person in the room. Ever! You have to like people, you have to have people like you. And you have to be curious!" Catch @GanunLester full conversation with Pam Duckworth on the JohnWallStreet YouTube channel.

VR at a live game? ABSOLUTELY NOT! However, Julie Souza (Global Head of Sports @awscloud) says that AI can super serve the fan by democratizing content. Leveraging AI, @PGATOUR went from producing 140-180 articles per tournament to 1200, enabling multiple pieces of content on every single golfer.

Julie Souza (Global Head of Sports @awscloud) explains that @F1 cars were redesigned in 2022 to promote more overtakes, "the most exciting thing about Motorsport". Prior to 2022, the cars emitted a super turbulent aerodynamic wake that made it really hard for cars to overtake. As a result of the redesign, @F1 saw 30% more overtakes in the succeeding season. Another incredible example of how AWS is leveraging data to help leagues evolve & improve.

The @NFL work with @awscloud around data is legitimately changing how the game is played on the field. For example, the dynamic kickoff was reworked after the NFL and AWS found that it caused 2X the injury rate and 4X the concussion rate over a normal pass and run play. The league took 10,000 seasons worth of simulated data to optimize for lowery injury rates and higher kickoff returns. With the dynamic kickoff, injury rates have now come in line with normal pass and run plays. "Last season there were 74.5% more returns, 1,157 to be exact." The Hip-Drop Tackle followed the same pattern. That play, Julie says, caused a 20X injury rate! Insane!! NFL banned it immediately. The work that Julie Souza & AWS are spearheading at this intersection of data & sports will forever improve the leagues we all love.

"Sometimes the best deals are the ones you don't do." If you're seeing 🚩🚩, Julie Souza says it's probably best to walk away from a potential partnership.
