Major update for Gravity rolling out this week! We also added additional Charging brand filters for popular networks like BP Pulse, @CircleKStores , FPL EVolution, @MercedesBenzUSA HPC and @Shell Recharge ⚡️

Congrats to the @LucidMotors team @ntwork Been driving on Software Update 3.4.0 & super stoked. No glitches, system is much smoother & impressive. Way it should be! Car driving wise was amazing from day one. Now my little annoyances with the software are gone.

Spent time in our prototype build area today watching the first full Lucid midsize vehicles come together. Same Lucid DNA as Air and Gravity - space, efficiency, dynamics, and range - paired with dramatically improved manufacturability and cost structure. These are going to surprise people. More soon.

@ArtemR @ntwork If the charging power was limited by the station you’d see a subtext on the screen you shared. So it’s likely your battery temp was the issue. We’re working on something to address the user education around this - stay tuned :)

@JanekMElectric @ntwork I did not (we left the hotel and stopped at the charger immediately), but I almost never do and it's never charged this slowly. The annoying bit is the car didn't tell me why it's charging slowly and what I could do or could have done to make it charge faster.

Sent to me by a friend from our charging team. Tesla has opened up the Redwood City V4 Supercharger to non-Tesla vehicles. That’s a Lucid Gravity Grand Touring charging well above 400 kW

@ArtemR @ntwork It gets pretty cold in Lake Tahoe around this time so preconditioning would definitely help. You can start Manual Battery Preconditioning remotely from the Lucid Mobile app!

@ntwork How is that amount of power only adding 16mi per minute?

@ntwork I the meantime I just stopped at the South Lake Tahoe Electrify America 350kW station and my Gravity is only charging at less than 100kW. These discrepancies are so frustrating.

@scottbuscemi It’s still not quite the same (V2L on the CT) and the Lucid was first :)

Lucid's RangeXchange feature is still widely underappreciated. There is no other EV that can discharge energy to any EV at up to 9.6kW. Little known fact: The feature is power-limited by the Lucid Mobile Charging Cable. The Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity onboard chargers are capable of up to 19.2kW discharging rates!
Nick Twork@ntwork

Thanks to my Lucid colleagues for reviving my wife’s Model Y, which was awoken from dead by charging with a Lucid Air and RangeXchange, a novel feature that allows charging another EV from a Lucid!

@Karanx_ F150 Lightning is max 7.2KW from its 240V outlet AFAIK. CT can do 9.6kW as others pointed out, but the Tesla Mobile Connector cable actually has a 7.2kW limit too.

@mahkus For a 40A EVSE, try the Lucid Mobile Charging Cable 🤙

@JanekMElectric You can get a different EVSE to charge at 40 amps. And can backup the house at 11 kW through the charge port

@mahkus Fair point, but isn’t the Tesla Mobile Connector limited to 32A even with a NEMA 14-50 plug?

@scottbuscemi You’re right, I thought the CT outlet was limited to 7.2kW like the Lightning’s 240V outlet.
