It's said he is strongly aligned with pro-multiculturalism and diversity. As Hartlepool’s first BAME councillor and former BAME Officer, he has championed Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), using sport (including founding a BAME football club and hosting the UK’s first Tri-Nations Kabaddi Cup) to promote “cultural inclusion,” youth empowerment, community cohesion, and celebrating diversity across ethnic groups. He is an Indian immigrant who settled in the UK and rose to local office. In short: Prior to this defection, Aaron Roy's record fits a pro-multiculturalism and pro-diversity stance (typical of many Labour councillors), with a focus on inclusion and integrating communities through grassroots initiatives. 🤔 So are Reform just becoming a 100% Uni-party?
