If we’re going to start pushing 100% approval narratives, we’re going to get eaten alive, and rightfully so. That kind of messaging is the opposite of strength, it’s propaganda. And it’s no different than when the Biden administration tried to convince the country there was no cognitive decline. People can see through it. We don’t lose credibility because of our policies, we lose it when we insult people’s intelligence. If we want to be taken seriously, the messaging has to be honest.
