Happy 80th birthday to Tim Curry! Here’s Tim Curry on the verge of breaking, holding it together by a thread. One of the greatest line deliveries.

David Miller is the choker, who never choked. He has won unbelievable games for South Africa as well as for Punjab, Gujarat & now Delhi. The other day, he made the blunder else it was also the game Miller won out of nowhere. He is still doing it at 35❤️🔥

An average picture that you save on your phone or PC has a size of around 400 kilobytes. It doesn't do anything, it's just a static image. Now divide that by the factor 10, so you drop to 40 kilobytes. That's the size of The Last Ninja, developed by System 3 and published in 1987. I still struggle to comprehend, even in the slightest, how programmers back then did what they did - and the worlds they created with the limitations they had to work with. I was simply blown away by the graphics (isometric on the C64 with such an amazing level of detail - simply gorgeous) and absolutely mesmerized by the kickass sound. What Ben Daglish and Anthony Lees conjured up musically will forever be part of gaming history - an iconic masterpiece. 40 kilobytes man...

South African all rounder left a match midway 😳 South Africa’s all-rounder Beyers Swanepoel left the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge Division One final midway with 8 overs still to play, to catch a flight to the UK. Playing for the Lions, Swanepoel had already completed his job with the ball, returning impressive figures of 3/44 in 10 overs as they defended 248 against the Titans in Johannesburg on March 29. He is set to join Worcestershire for the County season. But here’s where it gets bizarre, the Lions management reportedly had no idea about his departure. For a brief period, they even fielded a substitute, assuming Swanepoel had picked up a niggle. Even they were shocked.

More info emerged regarding Swanepoel leaving the 1-Day Cup Final 7 overs early Apparently management were only informed of him leaving that day while they were batting However, he told someone in the Titans setup and Morkel informed the match referee when Beyers left the field

Gaming is not for everyone. Gaming is not for activists. Gaming is not for feminists. Gaming is not for DEI cultists. Gaming is not for rainbow propagandists. Gaming is for players who want FUN games with inspiring characters, and for the devs who create them.

Players don't want to celebrate Pride. Players don't want to celebrate International Women's Month. Players don't want to celebrate Black History Month. Players don't want to celebrate Hispanic whatever. Players just want to play amazing games, and feel like a badass doing so.

Ray Harryhausen animated 7 skeletons in Jason and the Argonauts (1963), moving 35 appendages per frame to match the actors. Some days he managed just 13 or 14 frames. It took 4 & a half months to create this 3 mins scene.

It’s insane that we still haven’t had a sequel to this masterpiece. What is Peter Jackson doing? He should let someone else direct it if he doesn’t want to do it anymore.

Last night I played 4 hours of the original Command & Conquer Red Alert with a friend. I absolutely loved this game. One of the first PC games I truly obsessed over. Released in 1996. Still an incredible game. DId you play it?

In Bruce Almighty (2003), Steve Carell landed the role because he was the only actor in auditions who nailed the anchor breakdown scene where Jim Carrey makes him speak gibberish. It became one of his breakthrough moments and helped launch his career.

Daniel Craig said the reason James Bond movies got serious and dark was because of Austin Powers movies “We had to destroy the myth because Mike Myers f*cked us. I am a huge fan, so don’t get me wrong, but he made it impossible to do the gags.” x.com/VideoChannel13…
