Je kon vroeger aan de tv-gids vaak al zien uit welk nest iemand kwam. TROS Kompas: Warm, gezellig, middenklasse, “gewoon doen”. Veel spelletjes, amusement, weinig pretentie. Echt het familiegevoel. NCRV / KRO Studio / Mikro Gids: Christelijke achtergrond. NCRV wat netter, degelijk, protestants. KRO iets bourgondischer, katholiek, maar nog steeds netjes. VPRO Gids: De intellectuelen. Links, progressief, cultureel geïnteresseerd. Veel aandacht voor kunst, filosofie, buitenland, documentaires. Veronica Gids: De rebellen / jongeren / commerciëlen. Meer popcultuur, actie, Amerikaanse series, radio-DJ vibe. Een beetje “stoerder”, minder braaf, meer entertainment en sensatie. AVRO Bode: De klassieke middenklasse. Netjes, cultureel, maar minder uitgesproken dan VPRO. VARA gids: Links, arbeidersachtergrond. Sociaal betrokken, politiek bewust. Later ook veel humor en satire. Mooi hoe zo’n simpel blaadje eigenlijk een soort identiteitsbewijs was 😄 Wij hadden vroeger trouwens de Veronica-gids

Wat opvalt is dat de media en joodse organisaties nauwelijks kritiek leveren op de oorlogsmisdaden van Israel. Na het platgooien van Gaza en een illegale oorlog tegen Iran worden nu weer honderdduizenden mensen in Libanon plat gebombardeerd. Waarom is het zo stil??

@alper Deventer and Hengelo allow many people from the north and the east of the country to board the train. Less necessary are Hilversum and Apeldoorn.

The Amsterdam-Berlin train is deeply unserious and stops in marginal towns on either side of the border. As far as I’m concerned it should only stop in Amersfoort on the Dutch side and Osnabrück/Hannover on the German side.

Van deur tot deur met het openbaar vervoer ben ik 26,50 (retour) euro kwijt. Dat kan nooit uit. Met de auto gemiddeld 40 minuten wat neer komt op zo'n €16,- voor een retour. Waarom moet dat OV in NL zo ongelooflijk duur zijn? Complete waanzin wat al een hele poos gaande is...
