@Kazukoku01 i have 10k hours in spire 1 for reference and am one of the best players in the world its not even close, spire 1 is a MUCH MUCH harder game i win more than i did in spire 1 and the game is a month old, thats really bad

@JapaneseExport I kinda disagree with the spire 1 being harder than the second, I have nearly 100hrs in both games and have played up to A5 and spire 2 has felt way harder. But yes I overall agree the game is SUPPOSED to be hard.

Slay the spire getting review bombed for being “too difficult” is very sad to see the game is supposed to be hard… onepunman literally won 20 in a row on A10 and i almost first tried the game on A10 while blindfolded spire 1 is close to 2x the difficulty and its the GOAT

@JapaneseExport As someone who is new to this game, the Doormaker is a bitch. Like I get that the old one is boring but this new one is just insane. Also I dislike how they dont put the patchnotes and went "just check the beta changes lol". I do love the card changes though. They're fun!

also before this tweet escapes the intended circles i KNOW that i am not the average user or target audience. however, tons of people played and loved spire 1 at a20, you should not be able to just pickup the game and win max difficulty easily, and the game isnt fun if its easy

please just play the game, its not actually fun to win all the time i promise

@FlareIsGone brightest flame is legit 100% winrate for me on A10, maybe best card in the game, shit is crazy

Tezcatara genuinely has so many bad options as an ancient. Brightest Flame, although I'd never take it at least is a lot of energy. But Pumpkin Candle only lasting one floor? Or wax relics leaving after 12 combats? Temporary buffs when others have better, permanent ones.
