Having a blast at Summer SOAR as we build models for trash collection to help our communities. These scholars built trash cans, trash trucks, trash compactors, and a trash robot that can detect trash on the ground and zap it up. 🗑♻️🗑 @FCPSR3 @fcpsPOG

For Wellness Wednesday, we read the book 🌂 The Big Umbrella 🌂 We discussed having an umbrella big enough for everyone and then drew our very own big umbrella. Mrs. Corey and I even got to join in and make an umbrella of our own 🩵 @StratfordLndgES

Spent our Monday morning meeting in the @StratfordLndgES garden sharing about our weekend and reading a book as we traveled along flower beds. 🌻📚🌻

Getting ready to welcome the month of May with a "May the Fourth Be With You" writing activity. Students wrote about why they would be a good leader to take over the galaxy. @StratfordLndgES

Math may have been a bit noisier than normal, but students got to have some real-life practice of measuring their partners with nonstandard units. "1m 17 crayons long and 73 unifix cubes tall" were all big discussions starters. @StratfordLndgES

What better way to end our day together than with our Zoologist Share Fair showcasing these amazing first grade authors and their animal research books written using @BookCreatorApp. We ❤️ sharing our growth with friends and family! @StratfordLndgES

Today, we finished our diagrams and our all about the author page for our animal research informational book. We have loved exploring evertything that @BookCreatorApp has to offer. We can't wait to show off our hard work at our share fair next week. @StratfordLndgES
