Here's yer man's review of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on Switch. I do think X is a bit of an unsung hero (probably because it was on Wii U so hardly any prick played it) and I enjoyed it again this time, even though the characters and cutscenes are a bit guff.

@Jarman13 Install Fortnite, look for the Fortnite Festival option, job done! Playing it with a controller (and it works really well) but depending on the format it does support some guitar controllers. And it’s free!

Finally got some free time last night for the first time in many, many weeks. Decided to try out Fortnite Festival for the first time. Haven’t been able to play Guitar Hero for 6 years because of a gardening accident but this is finally giving me the itch again. Still got it!

@GenePark Bought a steamdeck with part of the intent to use it on flights but nope. I’m too afraid of how others perceive me to live life to the fullest. Thus I’m condemned to stare at the flight map while listening to an audiobook

Serving on a bomber in World War Two was almost a guaranteed death sentence.  Depending on the unit and time of the war, US bomber crews could experience anywhere from 50% to just over 70% of their personnel becoming killed, missing, or taken prisoner. With such appalling casualty counts, it is no wonder why those who stepped forward to volunteer did so to the shock and surprise of their compatriots.  But even with such a dangerous calling, some airmen in the community drew gasped shocks even from battle-hardened veterans at volunteering. These airmen were those that served as ball turret gunners.
