@Cornish_Rattler @CoreyWriting Not really. The movies used a shitload of shortcuts, they cut a lot of backstory to make them viable to watch in cinemas lenght-wise. TV series does not have such constrictions, they can show the full story, and actually be better then the original depiction.

If anything indicated, that your proposition has a chance of financial success - they would do it. The fact, that they are doing a reboot, shows that this is the most financialy viable option.
