I don’t care if Trump enters an intermediary ceasefire with Iran. They’re already severely weakened, and don’t hold the cards. On top of that, stabilizing gas prices before Midterms is a priority. Iran is unstable and untrustworthy, but if they break it, they’ll just continue to get obliterated. So, I fail to see a downside here if Trump strikes a deal. I also wouldn’t mind finishing them off, so long as there is a pathway to do that quickly (which I’m not sure there is)
