@keeptalkingGR Unless they were vaccinated in Greece with a temporary AMKA beginning with 9. No one with these AMKAs can obtain ANY proof of vaccination. And still government keeps quiet and does n't fix problem of these numbers being unrecognisable by their own IT systems.

I am compelled to repeat that numerous foreign residents report that they continue to be blocked from issuing a vaccination certificate.
Wondering how other EU countries are tackling the issue, and hoping authorities here can address this promptly.

Numerous foreign residents of Greece who have completed their vaccination are finding it impossible to obtain the EU vaccination certificate - which Greeks can get though an automated process. Much like the AMKA glitch, competent authorities can solve this - if there is a will.

@ekathimerini What about us EU citizens in Greece who are fully vaccinated but with temporary AMKAs starting with “9”? When will the government fix the technical issue which prevents us from obtaining the EU green pass? Why are we not allowed to travel freely in Greece and the EU like others?

@GreekAnalyst I am vaccinated but cannot prove it due to govt IT massive failure. Now in light of govt new rules I have to pay for tests to travel and be denied access to indoor dining and events. Shame on government.
