Unions are endorsing various candidates for governor. The United Auto Workers Wisconsin State CAP Council now endorses Mandela Barnes one day before the start of early, in-person voting.
Barnes’ dad was a member of UAW Local 1866.

WI Dems will figure it out when they choose from 7 candidates on the primary ballot. The 1st question I asked candidates: do you pledge to stay in the race until the primary? In 2022, that option was ripped away from Dem voters because the other candidates on the ballot bailed.

The Dem race for governor in WI feels like a slow-rolling car headed for a cliff. If Dems there don't figure it out, they'll endanger a potential House pickup opportunity and risk installing as governor an election-denying, Freedom Caucus member just in time for the '28 election.

An old X account linked with Wisconsin Democratic candidate David Crowley made some crude comments in 2010, but his campaign says 10-12 people had access to the page and he didn’t post the controversial statements. What do you think?

The reach isn’t that NBC reported on the account. The reach is assigning authorship of every offensive post to Crowley when the article itself says otherwise.
The story acknowledges:
• He registered the account and wrote some posts.
• The campaign says 10–12 people had access to the account to promote a bar/social club.
• NBC reports the campaign denies he authored the controversial posts, and Crowley publicly condemned the language.
You can certainly question that explanation, but presenting disputed posts as if they were definitively written by one person goes beyond what even the article establishes. That’s why I said it’s a huge reach.
