@Mario_Demiuex @redrock_bball Great, then I’m sure he’ll get max offers elsewhere, or he’ll take the qualifying offer and get them next season, right?

@redrock_bball He helped anchor Detroit’s defense all season while contributing on offense and was named third team All NBA and All-Star teams. Detroit earned their top seed due in large part to him. He met the standard to earn the higher wages. It’s unreasonable not to pay.

@FarazJaka @WSOP I think the only bluffs are Ah-10h or Ah-6h? Most likely AQ, and bluffs represent a pretty small part of the range. I think folding to the check raise was probably best. After you call an ace is about the only card you’re happy to see.

@zachweinberg @ShaggyKC @christopherrufo Do you agree to cut the military budget? How about stop bombing countries in the Middle East and creating refugees? I suspect you don’t agree with those and I would kindly tell you to shut the fuck up, rich bitch.

We're already here. Billionaire tax became $50m tax in 3 weeks. Soon it will be anyone with $1m in home equity. Why? Because you MUST tax the middle class to raise any real amount of money to cover the spending Ro and others want to spend. It's always a middle class tax.

@d00mwake There are always going to be cards that warp an entire format. You ban one and another is just gonna take its place. Soon you have a rotation with 100 banned cards. Thats also not good for the format.

@JasonDoesTwitta Obviously there shouldn’t ever be another Nadu, but there can be cards that are so powerful that they warp the entire format around them and I don’t think that’s good for the long term health of standard

@d00mwake If by broken cards you mean cards that never should have been printed like Nadu, then sure. If by broken you mean they are good in the current meta than there is a never ending amount of broken cards to ban

@redrock_bball Everything now moving forward is about finding the few individuals you can trust to be honest. However the general population has a habit of misconstruing people they like or agree with for people who are trustworthy.

@redrock_bball The problem is all the larger Institutions have blown all their credibility so many times over in the last 10 years that nobody trust anything or anyone. “The intellectuals” are the ones who caused this, there is no fixing it anymore, and AI will make it worse.

I know it sort of goes without saying, but anti-intellectualism and fear of data and numbers is becoming a huge problem

Woman: “So you don’t think it’s killing a human being?” Dean Withers: “No, I do.” Woman: “And you’re ok with that?” Dean: “Yes.” 🙄 At least he admits it, I guess? So often they won’t admit that they’re perfectly fine with killing innocent humans.

@RelieaYuell @thinbluesublime @NJBeisner My point is whether or not a human being can speak, communicate, or make rational sense has nothing to do with whether they are a person or not.

@JasonDoesTwitta @thinbluesublime @NJBeisner A toddler, or a mentally disabled person, is not a fetus. You indeed CAN ask them if they agree with you, unlike a fetus. Will the answer be useful or mean anything? Maybe or maybe not, so like, what is your point?

@StevenWisdom13 @Robby1554361 @NJBeisner Also I don’t care about what’s popular. I care about what’s moral. Slavery was popular once upon a time. I have a feeling you wouldn’t use that as a defense

@thinbluesublime @NJBeisner Really convenient for the people that decide which human beings count as people and which ones don’t. Again, same argument.
