@gamebuilder2000 @PokeDailyPost I know that about the Genesect movie but many people still consider it to be non-Cannon for some stupid reason. Despite the fact that Ash, knowing what a Mewtwo is confirmed, it’s canonicity.

@gamebuilder2000 @PokeDailyPost Well, you gotta remember that it’s technically the same Mewtwo in a different continuity. So the Mewtwo Ash met is in some way the same one that red met. They both are the first/only Mewtwo. (Unless in the anime if you count the genesect movie as canon.)

@PokeDailyPost Keep in mind that even with Ash’s Lucario who he as a connection to thanks to his aura making him stronger and his Pikachu, who is strong stronger than ever + Goh with his Cinderace, they couldn’t even land, a single hit on Mewtwo.

@PokeDailyPost I feel like red wins this one because he is not only one of the most experienced trainers in the games history, but in origins he’s the first trainer to discover mega evolution and beat Mewtwo. And even without me evolution in the games, he still beats and captures Mewtwo.
