@hockeynightdoc The ask should be similar to the Ryan Miller trade . That trade was Ryan Miller and Steve Ott for Jaro Halak , Chris Stewart , Prospect William Carrier a 1st and 3rd . A comparable move would be Hellebuyck and Iafallo for UPL , Quinn , (B level prospect) 1st and 3rd .

Chevy will get what he wants for Hellebuyck. He's not giving him away for scraps or high draft picks. He has a price in mind and will stick to it. Its pretty simple. Doesn't matter what the player wants, he has 5 years left on his contract and a expiring NMC

Not trying to call this fella out because it’s a fair point. But Andrew Heaters is always thinking two moves ahead fellas. Sabres now have four players in their Bottom 6 making 3+ million dollars. Although your top 6 guys are on good contracts. That doesn’t mean you can put your role players on “bad” ones. You’re still going to have to pay Helenius, Ostlund, Quinn, Kulich. Norris is going to be a tough player to move. Ilia Morozov will play a year in Rochester and be a plug and play bottom 6 center in 27-28. McLeod has a 5 team NMC next year and has a lot of value in a trade scenario hence why he was being shopped. If you’re going to move a guy he’s the guy you move now. #LetsGoBuffalo
