Go BIG or go home. The Beardmore Inflexible, aka Rohrbach Ro VI, was the world's largest aircraft in 1928 with a 157-ft wingspan—16 ft wider than the WWII B-29 Superfortress. This all-metal prototype used advanced stressed-skin construction, powered by three 500-hp Rolls-Royce engines. Built in Scotland, it first flew March 5, 1928, but was underpowered, saw no production, and was scrapped in 1930.👀
