@newstart_2024 Does anyone have stats on these 2 things? Political affiliation for regular pot smokers and even better, change in left/right spectrum after beginning to smoke pot regularly.

Adam Carolla made a sharp point on Megyn Kelly: We spent decades winning the war on cigarette smoking… then turned around and basically told everyone weed is harmless medicine. Now we have a generation that doesn’t smoke cigarettes but smokes a lot of pot — and it’s quietly messing a lot of young people up. Carolla said if you asked the average progressive mom whether she’d rather her teenage son smoke cigarettes or weed, most would pick weed. We traded one public health problem for another, this time with a trendy “natural” halo around it. I’ve seen this cultural shift happen in many places — the “weed is safe” narrative got pushed so hard that we’ve downplayed the real effects on developing brains. What do you think — did society overcorrect on cigarettes and under-correct on cannabis, or is weed genuinely safer for teenagers?

One of the many tragedies of this war is that before the war began the U.S. Intel Community, including CIA, was in agreement that Iran wasn't developing a nuclear weapon & that Iran would target U.S. bases in the region & shut down the Strait of Hormuz if they were attacked by Israel & the U.S. The IC also properly assessed that targeting the Iranian leadership would strengthen the regime and embolden the hardliners. Despite the professionalism & accuracy of the IC, the narrative & agenda spun by a foreign government- Israel, won the argument & forced us into this war. We need to understand exactly how this happened to ensure we are never put in this position again.

I think there's more nuance to this conversation that needs to be taken into account. I just checked your music and it's v high energy stuff. I wouldn't imagine there's 2 many artists that could energetically nerf your night. It's not like that for all styles of music tho
