High school graduation ceremonies are pointless, and should be canceled no matter the weather.
If the state forces you to go to school, I don't understand why we're spending millions of dollars of human time and capital celebrating you for doing the bare minimum. Just get on with your life without the fanfare.
Also, this is our high school just down the street. Sorry for the parents and students but I'm glad I didn't have to water my lawn this weekend 😉

Boomers seem to forget that fast food used to be a normal, everyday expense for them because it was affordable. You could get a burger easily on minimum wage, it wasn’t some fancy treat you had once a year as a reward for pulling yourself up by your bootstraps.

@JasonPynn For me, the lack of unlimited drink packages and casino helped for an overall family feel rather than drunk and smoking people everywhere. That’s probably the biggest thing. The next is the entertainment is top notch. Finally rotational dining was a unique experience to enjoy.

@ELO_kiddie73 I relate. It took me a while to come around to Nirvana, but I enjoy now. I saw Eddie Vedder solo last year and he was amazing. Also saw John Popper (BT) live few years ago and his talent on the harp is mind blowing to see in person.
