Think the Wolves have eventually bumped up against the same issues for the past 2 (maybe even 3) playoff runs. Teams get super aggressive with Ant coverages, their second option isn’t good enough to loosen it individually or play off it, and Gobert becomes a complete non-threat.

The foul trouble forced the Wolves to go smaller with Conley, and the Spurs jumped all over him on the defensive end. Julius Randle is 2-12 from the field. It's been a really rough series from a scoring standpoint for him.

If they were to make this change, I would think it would be Reid for Gobert -- so more of Gobert's minutes move to coming against Kornet and next to Reid when Wemby is out there; plus Randle-Reid would more often come against the Wemby minutes where they NEED to spread the floor

Gotta think moving Naz Reid into the starting lineup has to be in consideration for Game 6 after another awful start for the Wolves in Game 5.

Anthony Edwards has just five shots in the first half. Randle and McDaniels (combined 4-14) struggling to convert is allowing the Spurs to load up on Edwards and limit his chances.
