DC COMICS QUESTION OF THE DAY: What DC character do you feel could use more exposure, or that you feel is underrated and not used to their full potential? Be nice, I'm just asking who you'd like to see get a bigger role in the DCU.

@GailSimone Kimiyo Hoshi aka Dr Light II. In COIE it seemed like she was being set up for huge things, got a spot on the then-new JL, then…not much over the years. Keeps popping back up but no one seems to know what to do with her.

@AustinGorton It’s too bad, bc this group with Madrox and Siryn added would’ve been interesting. A lot of unexplored and underused characters there.

@captaincupkicks What a waste of Taskmaster. A sarcastic self-interested mercenary with an intriguing power in the comics reduced im the movies to Winter Soldier 2.0, another brainwashed, silent assassin. There are unique ideas in the comics and way too much watering them down for the movies.

This is why sometimes I cringe at female writers. Putting aside wether or not she is right or wrong in who would win. As a writer it’s like an unwritten code to not be definitive in superhero matchups Now back to the matchup. Actually 1 of these is correct

@GailSimone Everyone knows the first FF movie should’ve had Basilisk as the villain. Or Miracle Man. How dare they skip these classics!

I really enjoyed the Fantastic Four movie but it's weird they had to create a villain (Galactus) instead of using someone from established FF lore.

@JasonRLady @sapphyreblayze Astronomically false equivalency. This is more like if they cast Christian Bale as, say, Battinson's Joker rather than diversifying the palate some more.

Fantastic Four was so good that it's made me even more pissed about the RDJ casting. This movie did such justice to the F4 themselves that I'm positive Shakman would've given us a comic-accurate Doom, but instead we're stuck with the Russos' desperate stunt casting.
